Kasi, as the departmental manager, is responsible for department operations. She oversees fiscal, personnel and human resources, student, instructional and information technology services for the department. Kasi also manages departmental facilities, budgets and events.

Kristina is the Graduate and Undergraduate Counselor for the department. She provides academic counseling for undergraduates for the Geography major/minor as well as the Geography/Environmental Studies major/minor. She is a resource for current graduate students, and also coordinates the admissions and funding process for the MA/PhD program. Kristina is also responsible for class scheduling, course enrollment, coordinates and plans summer sessions courses, seminar and conference room space, as well as graduation.

Rebecca Goodine – Budget & Personnel Coordinator

The Budget and Personnel Coordinator handles all department employment and benefits services for faculty, graduate students and staff. In this capacity, she implements recruitment, and handles merits and promotions. She also is the department’s parking and Visiting Scholar’s coordinator. Lastly, the Budget and Personnel Coordinator works closely with the manager on all budgeting issues.

The Administrative Specialist is responsible for departmental purchases as well as processing entertainment & travel reimbursement requests. She is also the facilities coordinator and provides general support to Manager and SAO.

Brian Won - Technical Advisor

The Department Technical Advisor handles all computer and networking issues for the department and is the primary interface between the department and the rest of Social Sciences Computing (SSC). This includes the department website and department labs not run by SSC, such as the Graduate student lab and the GIS lab.

Matt Zebrowski - Cartographer

Provides cartographic consultation, analysis, and creation of cartographic, and other visual design of information and concepts, including photography, for research and publishing projects, in collaboration with faculty for publication, professional presentation, departmental and instruction. Provide cartographic consultation to Geography students. Contributes a graphic design program for the department website and technical assistance to the Air Photo Archives.
