Application & Registration
Registration:
Interested participants in UCLA’s Certificate in Geospatial Information Systems & Technology are encouraged to register as soon as possible because space is limited. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis (with full payment). Registration for participation in individual weekly workshops will begin May 15, 2009. A waiting list will be created for workshops that fill to capacity.

Schedule:
NOTE: Workshops will be held Monday through Thursday, 6PM – 9.30PM, and Saturday & Sunday, 9AM -4PM.
July 6 – July 12: Fundamentals of Geospatial Information Systems & Technology
July 13 – July 19: Geospatial Information Analysis
July 20 – July 26: Project Management with Geospatial Information Systems & Technology

Fee Structure:
Three-week GIST Certificate: $4750.00*
Any one-week workshop: $1695.00**Fees cover all instructional materials and computer lab charges.

Payment can be made by check, or by recharge/transfer of funds (for UCLA departments).

Refund & Cancellation Policy:
All refund requests must be submitted by email (gist@geog.ucla.edu) by the dates listed below.
90% REFUND:
If request is made before JUNE 1, 2009, a refund of 90 percent of the total amount paid will be provided;50% REFUND:
If request is made June 1 – June 30, 2009, a refund of 50 percent of the total amount paid will be provided;25% REFUND:
AFTER JUNE 30, 2009, a refund of 25 percent of the total amount paid will be provided.
IF the UCLA GIST certificate program or a workshop is cancelled, a full refund for the amount paid by the registrant will be issued.
